Exeter band IDIOM has shared stages with the likes of 36 Crazyfists, Skindred, Devildriver, Sikth, Bring Me the Horizon, and Cancer Bats, as well as numerous festival appearances including Download Festival, Nass and Bloodstock Open Air. Touring for many years with these acts, building a loyal fan base by having free covermount CDs released through Metal Hammer, a crushing love show and delivering a unique sound that was hard to ignore, the band fell silent in 2016.
The band return after several setbacks with a new record entitled “The Curse”, inspired by losing an album they went to Los Angeles to record, the passing away of several close people and everything else thrown at them. This album is the sound of perseverance and never giving up.
With a release in 2019 after a 3-year hiatus, with new members and a renewed spirit, the band plan to tour and play shows like they always did. With huge energy, bouncing crowds and a desire not to quit. With festivals already penned in and more to follow, the band look to kick on from where they were stopped and aim to deliver the music and shows that made them such a force on the tour circuit for years.
